Meet Doug McClintic: Trynzic’s New West Region Sales Director

Supporting Trynzic’s efforts to fill industry software gaps and enable Smart Utilities, we are continuing to hire new, bright people to join the team. In this post, we introduce our latest hire, Doug McClintic.

As Trynzic works to expand its reach, it’s important we bring in utility industry veterans who will help spread our disruptive message to the greater distribution utilizes.

Our CEO Andrew Tokarz said it best:

“Passionate people drive change. That’s why it’s important for Trynzic to continue to hire savvy industry vets with a track record of bringing positive change everywhere they’ve been. Doug fits this description perfectly. We’re excited to see the instrumental role he’ll play in driving our success in our western region.”

Let’s meet the newest Trynzic team member.

Doug McClintic, West Region Sales Director

Doug comes to Trynzic with a wealth of industry experience that makes him perfect for his new role.

Prior to taking this new position at Trynzic, Doug worked 10 years in the water utility sector for two leading smart meter technology manufacturers. Before that, Doug spent over 20 years working in software sales. He worked at many start-ups and spent 8 years at Microsoft. Doug holds a B.S in Business and Forestry from Oregon State University.

In his new role at Trynzic, Doug is responsible for collaborating with electrical distribution utilities in 11 western states, including Alaska and Hawaii on their digital modernization strategies. Doug will be instrumental in demonstrating how utilities can benefit from Trynzic’s disruptive approach – bridging the gap between high volume data and better business processes. He is eager to apply his blended experience working in software and the water utility industry to help utilities use data to increase operational efficiencies.

When he’s not hard at work, Doug enjoys skiing, hiking, e-biking and all things outdoors. He also loves listening to jazz and plays a little jazz piano from time to time. He and his wife have four adult children and two grandchildren as well as two sheep that help him maintain his backyard.

Congratulations Doug, and welcome to Trynzic!
